Guest Reviews & Ratings
This hotel quickly became one of my favorites due to its cozy rooms and great heat control, perfect for chilly nights. However, the aged decor felt like a trip back to an early French brothel and the noise level was quite high at times.
Despite the split-level layout leading to some caution with the hardwood floors, the Victorian-themed rooms with a touch of a used towel and some dirty elements make this hotel one of my favorites. The polite and understanding service, amidst ongoing renovations, stood out, even if somewhat reminiscent of a worn-out French brothel. The perfect location for events and a fantastic view of the firework show outweigh minor heat issues, especially beneficial for convention center visits. The halal dining experience was missing, and the facilities hinted at some needed improvements, particularly on the baseboards.
The hotel has a cozy and well-appointed Victorian-style decor, with small but comfortable rooms. The service was incredibly accommodating and friendly, understanding that renovations were ongoing. The location is perfect for events with a great view of the firework show, ideal for convention center visits. The dining options include vegetarian and vegan dishes. Bless and Merry Christmas!
The hotel has a unique Victorian-style decor in the rooms which made it quite charming, though some elements felt a bit worn out. The ongoing renovations were a minor inconvenience. The service was pleasant and accommodating, with the staff explaining the renovation process patiently. The location was ideal for attending events and offered a great view of the fireworks. Overall, the hotel had its quirks but provided a satisfactory stay.
The hotel was undergoing renovations, but my stay was very comfortable and clean. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, despite the ongoing renovations. The location was outstanding, directly in front of downtown festival sites with a great view of the firework show. However, some vintage charm was lost due to the renovations, like the quirky pipe system and bathroom marble.
The hotel offers a mix of positives, such as cozy and well-appointed rooms, but with some quirks like split-level layout that requires caution. The service is engaging and accommodating, though undergoing renovations, and the location is outstanding with excellent views but with some vintage charm challenges. Overall, a unique stay with character.
